I have a MN-500 and a MN-700. I currently have my 700
setup as my base station and am looking to setup my 500
as an access point. Would the 700 suffice as the DHCP
server and extend my wireless range? Also would the
computers that connected through the WAP show up in the
Admin of the 700 (so i could monitor who is on the
network), that is if the WAP has the same name and the
base station?

consider an alternative:
http://www.microsoft.com/WindowsXP/e...man/segnet.asp

i would not recommend using the same SSID if you are using a G router
and a B access point.
