here is my dilema.
I have a base station (Microsoft MN-500) downstairs and 2 computers upstairs out of the base stations range.
Is there a device I can put in between to repeat the signal.
None of these computers or the base station can move or can there be any cables run.
Thanx

You need a wireless repeater. Search at http://www.tomshardware.com/ or any
other decent hardware review site for your choices.

Is there somewhere in the house from which the base station signal
would reach everywhere? If so, you might be able to move the base
station to that location by using a powerline/Ethernet bridge, such as
the Netgear XE102 or SpeedStream 2502. Connect your broadband modem
to one such bridge, and connect the base station to another bridge.
The signal will go between the bridges over the house's existing AC
wiring.

That's what I do in my house, where the cable modem is in the basement
and my wireless access point is in my office on the first floor. That
gives a good wireless signal everywhere, including the second floor.
