I've got a IBM 300PL (type 6892) running RedHat Linux 8. Any
recommendations for a readily available, reliable wireless card with
driver support?

It might just be that no one with that exact combination machine/OSversion
has read your post (yet). Personally, I'm running SuSE 8.2 on an HP
Pavilion so my experiences would not be relevant, esp. as I haven't yet
implemented any wireless (but I'm researching). There are some other posts
on wireless, but no one can guarantee they'll work on your combo.
