Looking for a router/switch that does wired and wireless.... Want some
machines on wired and some on wireless for a friend. I have a wired
router with a WAP upstairs but didn't know if I could eliminate a box.

Thanks!

Most of the wireless routers also have wired ports, usually 4. Now what
else do you need/want? Who made your Wireless NIC(s)?

HI
You already have the best setup. Having the AP an router together means that
you may have to compramise the best position for the AP .
Personaly I would for for the setup you have.

With my own setup, Router, Switch and AP are all Linksys. Wireless NIC
is Netgear.

I tend to think my setup is good too. I have the Router, modem and
switch in the basement right where the cable comes in to the house and
the WAP is in my living room. I can go all over with no connection
problems.
