Currently, my desktop machine is hard wired to my wireless
router. I also have two other desktop machines here that
are wireless. I want to buy a notebook to replace my
desktop. Most of the time, my notebook can be plugged into
my router, but sometimes I will want to use it wireless.
My question is, when I unplug the cable to the PC card,
and let the machine switch to wireless mode, where does my
ISP's assigned IP go? Will my internet connection still be
alive once the two desktops and the notebook are all
wireless without a re-boot? If I went to
http://megawx.aws.com/support/faq/software/ip.asp what
would it say my Ip was after I unplugged the notebook from
the router?
I hope my questions are clear.
