That's because you're dealing with two different IP addresses, Russell.
Check out this Knowledge Base article to see if it'll give you some
information (it may not apply to your specific required ports, since games
vary by manufacturer):

you have an IP which is furnished by your Internet Service Provider, and
that resides on the MN-100. Further, as part of your internal LAN (your
side of the base station), each computer is identified by a different IP
address unique to your LAN.
