Wired Base Station and Internet Games

I use MS Broadband networking Wired Base Station MN-100
to connect 2 computers to the internet. Both access the
internet without problem. When I try to use online
games/programs (in particular Delta Force Land Warrior
and Roger Wilco), The person trying to connect to my
hosted game, cannot make a connection. I have to
disconnect my router, and connect my modem direct to my
computer. Besides the hassle of this everytime, if
someone wants to use the other computer to get on the
internet, I have to end my quality game time. I know
there are settings in the management tool for the ports,
but I can't figure out what ports should be allowed, or
how to do it. Can anyone provide me with step by step
instructions to set this up?

Thanx.

R.

That's because you're dealing with two different IP addresses, Russell.
Check out this Knowledge Base article to see if it'll give you some
information (it may not apply to your specific required ports, since games
vary by manufacturer):
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;240429 The thing is
you have an IP which is furnished by your Internet Service Provider, and
that resides on the MN-100. Further, as part of your internal LAN (your
side of the base station), each computer is identified by a different IP
address unique to your LAN.
