WINS Problem in NT4.0 Server

Hi,
I have a NT4.0 server which gives the below error when workstation service
is started.
"Error 0002: The System cannot find the file specified"

Due to this problem, the netlogon service fails to start as well.I'm unable
to browse \\localhost.. it says "Network not present or not started"

The eventlogs record the below messages,
Event ID: 3870
Source: Workstation
Description: <computer name> is not a valid computer name.

Event ID: 7023
Source: Service Control Manager
Description: The Workstation service terminated with the following
error: A duplicate name exists on the network.

This server has WINS settings configured with Primary & Secondary WINS
servers.DNS settings remain blank.The server has 2 NICs cards which are
Teamed.I did read http://support.microsoft.com/kb/197157 but I dont see any
NetBEUI entry rather I see NetBios entry there.

However, when I clear WINS settings and key in Primary DNS & Secondary DNS
IPs, the server reboots and workstation service starts.
Can you please explain me what could be the problem?

Probably the server name is not a valid NetBIOS name.
For example NetBIOS name must not contain underscore character "_". This
used to be one common fault when I worked on NT4 years ago.
