Hi,

I have these two error messages coming up but the problem is the IP
addresses in them don't belong to WINS servers. 128.66.1.1 doesn't even
respond to a ping, 128.66.1.150 responds but doesn't have a name, it could
be a print server.
How do I resolve it and stop the messages coming?
Thanks

S W

Do you have these IPs listed as Replication partners? It may be possible
that somehow names for the partners you do have are being translated to
these IPs as well.

Hi Dusty

These IPs are not listed as replication partners in any of the three servers
I believe are acting as WINS servers.

Is there a way (apart from checking every server on the domain) to see if
there are any other WINS servers?

Or could these be IP addresses of old WINS servers, no longer on the
network? If so, where would I spot them?

Regards

Steve
