WINS : Edit ip adresses in 1C record

Hi,

We have a Windows 2000 native network with 4 DCs. Each DC is also
WINS server.
The problem I have is that the 1C record for my netbios domain name
lists far more than the 4 ip adresses of the 4 DCs we currently have.
It lists for instance the ip adresses of the DCs on our old network
(we migrated some time ago from a 10.1.x.x network to 10.2.x.x in our
new building) and some other IPs starting with 169.254.x.x .
Those ip adresses can also be shown with the netsh command :
netsh wins server \\10.2.x.x show names name=domainname endchar=1c

I've tried deleting the owners that don't exist anymore, but they
still show up in the 1C record.

Is there any way to edit the IPs in this record ?

If not, what would be the implication of deleting this 1C record and
rebooting the DCs ?

That's what I would do and be done with it.
