I have 2 offices that I need to link up via a VPN. We are still on an NT4
domain but will eventually upgrade to AD. One of the offices will be on
subnet 192.168.1.0/24 and the other will be 192.168.2.0/24 but both are part
of one NT4 domain. I'm installing a WINS server (2003 based) at both sites
for name resolution. My question is that I'm unsure whether people will
still have access to their network neighborhood and get the list of available
servers. Am i correct in that the WINS servers will update each other
(across the VPN)? What service would be in control of maintaining the browse
list?
Thanks in advance for your help
