Just a bit of information on SP1 for Windows 2003:

Service Pack 1 can cause issues where connectivity between clients and
servers to fail ("http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=898060"). The
interesting thing about this bug is that it takes a few days after
installing SP1 for the symptoms to show up, and its very hard to diagnose.

Examples have been:

* Mapped drives not working
* Webmail going down for users in one site but not others
* Replication failing between DC's

You will be please to know that there is a Hotfix for this, but (and you
knew that was coming) it is only currently available from Microsoft
(MS05-019)

Hope this helps someone.

Paul.
