My Win98 is my main machine. I had it set up to be tapped into by my WinME
wireless laptop. Everything was working fine.

My main machine has two OS and two HD's. Each OS is loaded onto on of them.
WinXP is for my work (and loaded by the work techie types) and Win98 for
personal. They set up my WinXP so that when I have that loaded I can see the
Win98 HD, but not visa versa.

So the wireless networks into my Win98 HD and not my work WinXP HD. I'm a
part time consultant and hadn't had to login to work for awhile. But once I
did, my networking from the WinME wireless to the Win98 HD somehow got
overwritten or ???

I am no techie, but I tried to figure what was wrong and somehow someway got
it all working again. Stupidly I didn't know what I did to get it to do that
and of course now that I've logged into the work WinXP HD again, it's wiped
out my networking again. I've tried to recreate my lucky fix, to no avail.

I've read and reread and tried and retried several of the troubleshooting
documents, but I've not struck paydirt.

Anyone have any tips or ideas?

What method of wireless networking are you using? Do you have an access
point or just a wireless adaptor for each connected adhoc? Are you using
WEP? Do the wireless adaptors show they are connected?

Thanks for replying Tony. What method... there's more than one? Wow. Guess I
should have guessed there were/are. I still don't know. But I did finally
bounce around and click on this, that, what have you and... wallllllaaaaa!
I'm connected again. And this time I wasn't so spacey as to not make a note
of what I did to turn it back on: Click on File and Print Sharing in the
Network part of Control Panel and then click on OK on my Win98 machine.
