WindowsXP-Windows98 Networking Questions

I have a WindowsXP Home Edition computer and a Windows98 computer. I
have a Linksys Wireless-B Broadband Router connected to the WindowsXP
and it's modem. I want my Windows98 to be able to go online and also
be able to see the WindowXP's shared documents. My ISP is Verizon.

However, the only thing I can do right now is see the Window98's shared
files from the WindowsXP. I am unable to go online or gain access to
the WindowXP's shared folder (I get a, " \\[name] is not accessible No
permission to access resource" error message when I try to access the
folder)

How can I fix these problems? Thanks.
