Get a system protection error when restarting after
installing a Airlink+ PCMCIA wireless adapter, model
WLC010. actually got errors even before restating when
selecting the WinMe driver. I uninstalled everything and
reinstalled using the Win9x driver. That seemed to work. I
was able to configure the adapter and and connect to all
resources on the network including the internet. But when
I shut down and restarted I got the protection blue screen
error and was unable to restart. Had to uninstall again.
Airlinkplus Web site provides no info on the wireless
adapter and only talks about their router. Have sent
numerous E-mails to them. Got one reply only requesting
the model number of the adapter. I specified that it was
their 802.11b PCMCIA wireless adapter, they only have one
11b, I replied with the WLC010 number. I never got another
reply from them. Anyone know of another driver tht might
work. I believe the adapter is actually made by Intersil
as a Prism.
