I am working on a network that has all Windows XP Professional client
computers. One by one each client computer is is popping up a message saying
limited or no connectivity. When I try to repair the connection I get a
message that it fails to renew the IP address. They cannot reach the DHCP
server. If I enter a static IP address I connect fine. I have tried the
"netsh winsock reset" command but that does not fix the problem of connecting
to the DHCP server.
What is causing this to spread and what can I do to fix the problem outside
of formatting the computers and reinstalling all software.
