Windows XP Networking with Wireless and HPNA

My brother tried to help me via email, for some reason my desktop with HPNA
and laptop with wireless connections do not see each other. I had a 3rd
desktop set up and it wouldn't network either.

I know networking is fairly easy. I did it once a long time ago. When I
switched to Windows XP several years ago, I have never been able to get them
to network.

I went through the Wizard and named my workgroups the same name on all
PCs/laptop; I created a folder on each, shared the folder, put a document in
that folder and shared it and shared the printer. Nothing.

Sometimes when I try to see the setup in Networking on C drive, I get an
error message that says I might not be the administrator. I'm the one who
built and set up these PCs/laptop, so I should be the administrator.

Thanks a bunch!

Hi
Maybe this can Help, Successful Sharing involves some general consideration
in Network settings,
http://www.ezlan.net/sharing.html
As well as specific adjustment of each computer according to what it is
allowed to be shared.
