Hello and apologies if this is the wrong newsgroup for this question. I
couldn't find a more appropriate one.

We have a basic network in our small office, just one pc with files shared
by 7 other pc's. The problem is today 2 of the pc's cannot see the shared
drive, F. I do not have a lot of experience debugging this kind of problem,
other than re-mapping the shared drive on the problem computers. This
usually works, but not this time. We keep getting a message to the effect
that the pc is over the maximum for shared drives or maps?. a cable
connection is ruled out as email, and internet access is not a problem and
all access is delivered by the same cable.

Apologies for being so vague, and such a newbie on this. Any help would be
much appreciated.
