I would like to know what the suggested recommendations are for a ntp time
server in a Windows 2003 domain and a dmz.

I am thinking of making 1 dc an ntp server that gets its time from an
external time source.

Do I have to point all my member servers to the DC for time or does it
automatically get it from the DC?

Is there any issues with making a DC the ntp time server?

usually a DC will be a time server for the others .. and from what I
remember the DC with the PDC role will do this.

and did a search and found this:
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/pro...167b95e48.mspx

a lot of other information could be found but this is pretty clear.
