When I try to share my Laser Jet Printer in Windows
Server 2003 Web Edition I get a message that comes up
saying "Printer settings could not be saved. Remote
connedtions to the Print Spooler are blocked by a policy
set on your machine."

Can anyone tell me how to fix this? I have been trying
now for days and I can't seem to find an answer. I have
looking in Local Security Settings and I can't find
anything there at all..

Thanks =)

The Print Spooler Service in not installed in the Web
Edition of Windows Server 2003. I'm not sure if it is
possible to install just that service. I tried for two
weeks and gave up. I installed Windows Server 2003 Small
Business Edition. I bought Web Edition thinking that it
would be a low cost Home Networking Server, but without
Printer Sharing, it is useless as a stand alone server.
It appear to me made for setting up Web Farms.

I have been searching for a tip on how to install Print
Services, but have not found it yet.

Windows Server 2003 Web Edition was designed to be run as a web server, not
a low cost home network server. Print and Fax sharing are not included with
this edition. Please see the following links:
