I have a 2003 domain controller, with 2L and XP pro clients. I have
configured the users accounts with roaming profiles as I have done for years.
The folders for the roaming profiles are created in the share and the
profiles windows on the client reports the profiles as being roaming.

The folders will not populate and there is no retention of the uses changes
to the profile. I have checked the path to the profile share, opened up the
permissions (Share and NTFS), and given the user ownership of the folder; no
change. The firewall service is disabled on the server.

I am stumped!
