Disconnect the machine form the network and reboot. Now you should be able to cancel the
login screen. If not, boot into Safe Mode and try that way. If not, then boot to a command
prompt, delete any .pwl files, then edit the system.ini file and remove any listing under
[Passwords], save file and reboot into normal mode.
Thanks,
Gary

'--'Hey all,
'--'I ended up starting my multiples users program. When I put my password in
'--'something happened and I had to shut the computer down. When I
'--'restarted it, the screen came to the Windows 98 window asking to select a
'--'user name and put in its password. i tried some of mine but none of them
'--'worked. I tried just cancelling, but it never got to the desktop. I'm not sure
'--'if there is another way to skip this window or what? Thanks for any help,
'--'Craig Campbell
