Windows Millenium crashes when using Trendnet USB wireless adapter

I recently purchased a Trendnet TEW-432BRP Router and TEW-424UB adapter. My
operating system is Windows ME and am connected to the internet with high
speed DSL.

I am able to connect to the internet with this configuration, but after a few
minutes, I try to access any application in Windows and computer freezes.There
doesn't seem to be a problem with internet access.

I've repeated this process several times, and have re-installed Trendnet
software several times. The first thing I do is install software then insert
USB adapter.

If I shut down the computer and remove the TEW-424UB adapter, the problem
goes away, am able to access any windows application.

Has anyone else seen this problem ?

You might want to try one of the Windows Millenium networking newsgroups
(microsoft.public.windowsme.networking).
