Windows ME hangs when installing PCMCIA network card

ME hangs whenever i plug in the LAN cable into
Realtek RTL8139C CARDBUS FAST ETHERNET PC CARD PCMCIA
Network Card. I have tried on other PC's with ME, and
the same problem occurred.
