Windows Me - Broadband with Dialup

I have a small home network, consisting of a router, a PC runnings
Win98 and a laptop running WinMe over a wireless PCMIA card.

This has all been running fine for ages. Sometimes if the broadband
connection has been unavailable, the laptop has used the dialup
connection.

Recently however, the laptop seems to be trying to always use the
dialup connection (fails and its set not to automatically dial) rather
than the wireless network/broadband connection.

Using the route and netstat commands, it seems to only have routing
information for the dialup. In the list of interfaces, the dialup
adapter appears before the PCMIA card.

I have temporarily disables the dialup adapter in the hardware
configuration and once again the broadband connection works fine.

Any suggestions welcome. Is it possible to specify the order of the
network adapter.

I'm puzzled as to why this has suddenly happened, nothing has been
changed.

Thanks in advance, Andy
