windows hungs up when using IE (not always though)

I use W98SE, and wireless network connections. My IE 6.0
the time in time hangs up (freezes) as soon as I make the
first search or look for a page, then I need to turno off
the computer and restart all over again. I can not even
use CTRL-ALT-DEL to restart the computer! It seems like
the action of the computer is too quick and suddenly it
freezes...again not always so is rare. Can any one help me
out?
