Windows Firewall - Problem with long FTP transfers

Hi,

I seem to have a problem related specifically to large transfers (in
minutes) for the FTP server of a Windows Server 2003, running Windows
Firewall and IIS 6.0.

The Windows Firewall on the server is ON, with FTP services allowed. I'm
able to upload and download small files normally from/to it.

When I try to upload, say, a 60 MB file (which will take around 20 minutes
on my connection), the transfer does not complete, as if a timeout of some
sort occured. The transfer goes all the way until 100% and then it stops -
the connection does not close. This occurs with any files that take a while
to upload.

If I disable Windows Firewall on the server, I'm able to transfer the very
same files, without a problem.

This happens on two different servers I have.

This seems to be a common problem. After a lot of "googling" I noticed that
many people have this problem, but none of them seem to have found a
solution. I presume a lot of people are not aware of this, because usually
their upload do not take so long.

So, is there a possible solution for this? Please say "yes". ;-)

Thanks in advance,

Helder Conde
