Windows cannot configure this wireless connection

I bought a new laptop with a Broadcom 802.11g adaptor. The router is a
linksys 802.11b. When I first used the wireless, it works perfectly until 1
day the connection suddenly failed. I was disturbed by the disrruption & got
reconnected to the wireless by installing a Ashton 802.11b Airdash wireless
WRUB-2011i USB Stick. Since then, I could no longer connect with the built-in
Broadcom adaptor. Windows fail to detect any wireless networks by displaying
the message, "Windows cannot configure this wireless connection. If you have
enabled another program to manage this wireless connection, use that
software. If you want Windowss to configure this wireless connection, start
the wireless zero configuration service. For information about starting the
wzc service, see article 871122 in the microsoft knowledge base on the
microsoft.com website." I tried every option including unintalling the
Airdash USB stick & its driver, updating the Broadcom driver but nothing
works. I contacted the laptop support but they said it's not the problem of
the hardware, so it's not their problem. I would like to be able to use the
built-in Broadcom adapter again so that I don't have to rely on the USB
stick. Please help!

If your computer is still under warranty, I would make them fix the issue.
It can be many different things, from software disabling the wireless
service (which can be anything from safe programs to problem programs like
spyware or viruses)... it could be a hardware issue itself, and there'd be
nothing you can do to fix it yourself, and the manufacture will be required
to repair it if it's still under warranty.
If you want to try and fix it yourself, my first suggestion is uninstall the
broadcom's drivers, pop open the door on the bottom of the computer for the
wireless card, (with the computer off of course) take the card out, and push
it back in... then reinstall the drivers.
If that doesnt work, then it's a bad card... get it replaced. Talk to your
OEM and get them to replace it.

I found a simple solution & it works. Hope this help everyone with similar
problem.
