Set up the TCP/IP for RedHat just as you would for Windows (IP address,
netmask, gateway, DNS etc.) SAMBA is the Linux implementation of
Windows File and Print sharing - don't know if it's installed as
standard on your RedHat, but it should be on the CDs. There's a couple
of file-browser type apps that you can use to get the "Explorer"
experience - Gnomba is the one I've used, or you can set up mount points
in your /etc/fstab once you've got SAMBA running.
Alternatively (if you're not going to be moving files around much and
want to avoid the hassle of configuring SAMBA) just set up an FTP server
on one of the machines and transfer in the usual way from the other -
there are a few free FTP servers for Windows if you want to do it that
way.
