H

I am using Windows 98 ( Not Windows 98 SE) and this wireless USB LAN Adapter needs the SE in order for the USB to recognise. How am I to overcome without install Windows 98 SE ? Currently when I plug in, it detects the USB Adapter as unknown device even though I tried loading the driver that comes with the Wireless USB LAN Adapter

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Regard
Edward Han

You can't overcome the problem except by upgrading.

you should be able to get a regular network card and an access point if you
absolutly want the operating system to stay win98 first edittion. you can
get an old used 3com nic for around $10 and an access point for around $50.
still cheaper then an upgrade os bouhgt thru regular chanels.
