I have a home network of 2 computers connected via a
crossover cableone running windows 200 the other 98 se.
Both computers see each other and the windows 200 computer
can access the windows 98 computer. The windows 98
computer can see the windows 2000 computer however, when I
try to access the windows 2000 computer it displays a
password dialogue that says: you must supply a password to
make this connection. then underneath that it says:
resource://*******/ipc$. I have checked and rechecked all
of the settings of both computers and I cannot make any
sense of it.
Please Help Me!

On the Windows 2000 computer open the Control Panel, then open the Users
tool. Add a user with the same user name (and password, if one is used) you
use to log onto the Windows 98 PC.
