I have XP on all my computers bar one which has 98 first
edition. I know I need second edition at a minumum to be
able to use the wireless router I have just bought.
However second edition is not available here in the UK in
the shops anymore. Are there any updates or downloads to
solve this?
Urgent!

If you really want it I can supply a disk with the cab files on it, FOC,
just boot from a floppy copy the files to the HD and run the setup.exe.

Pass an Email and I'll contact you.

OK I know that it infringes the various MS laws on duplicating software but
it's MS who gives a S**t

I'm sorry, but there are no updates or downloads to upgrade from one
Windows version to another.

If the Win98 first edition computer is to connect to the router
through a wired connection, it should work fine, without the need for
second edition.

If it's to connect to the router through a wireless connection, get a
wireless network adapter that works on first edition. Examples are:

Netgear MA101
Netgear MA401
Microsoft MN-520
