I'm sorry, but there are no updates or downloads to upgrade from one
Windows version to another.
If the Win98 first edition computer is to connect to the router
through a wired connection, it should work fine, without the need for
second edition.
If it's to connect to the router through a wireless connection, get a
wireless network adapter that works on first edition. Examples are:
Netgear MA101
Netgear MA401
Microsoft MN-520
