On our shop floor we have several Win98 machines that run a legacy app.
Yesterday they could all view shares (printers and files). Last night
I had to bring the server down to install a new power button. When I
brought it up today the Win/98 machines can no longer access the
shares. You can ping the server by IP or Name just fine.

I am stumped. Has anyone seen this issue?

Check the security event log on the server.

There are no settings for these CPUs in the security logs.
