Windows 98 clients not able to login to Windows 2000 domain

Unfortunately my clairvoyant's coat is currently with the drycleaners. This
leaves me without my usual supernatural powers, and makes it quite
impossible for me to determine your machine environment. Furthermore, my
crystal ball is cracked, hence it no longer tells me what exactly you have
tried and what error messages you get. I will now go and pray for divine
inspiration.
