Hi,

I have a 8 PC setup on a small office network. All clients are windows
98 with one client Windows XP Home Edition acting as a file server.

I have set the C:\Drive as a share. The Drive is mapped to the other
users as their Z:\ drive.

The problem is the client pc's sometimes (probably twice per day)
disconnect and cannot reconnect to the mapped drive unless I reboot the
"server"

Any ideas what may be causing this? and a possible solution.

They are all networked through a Linksys router sharing Internet.

Only file shares go down. Internet is always available which leads me to
believe its a security issue?
