A disk or folder is only visible on the network if it has been
explicitly configured as a shared disk or folder. If you don't want
it to be visible, un-share it. In My Computer or Windows Explorer, a
shared disk or folder has a hand under its icon. To un-share it,
right click it, click Sharing, and click Not Shared.
An easy way to create a Shared Documents folder on Windows 98 is to
run the Windows XP Network Setup Wizard on Windows 98, which does it
automatically. However, you don't need to run the Wizard -- you can
create a shared documents folder anywhere on the disk and share it.
Make the share name "SharedDocs" so that it can be seen on other
computers on the network.
