I have used Linksys wireless components on 2008 (32 bit) successfully before,
but am having trouble with getting a WUSB600N to work with a 64 bit install
of 2008. The install of the driver failed with a message about not having
wlanapi.dll available. It did say something about Vista in the message.

At this time, the system properly identifies the adapter as a Linksys
WUSB600N wireless N dual-band adapter, but it is disabled and cannot be
enabled.

My question is if there is a wlanapi.dll for 2008 or if there is a way of
working around this problem.

Wireless networking is disabled by default in Server 2008. Have you
enabled it it features?
