We have a Windows domain with a domain controller running Win 2000 and
Active Directory. I have just set up a new server running windows 2003.
I want to enable users to access it without being prompted for a
password if they have already logged into the domain. Currently, I
cannot even log in remotely (using \\newserver from the RUN command)
with my domain name and password. I can log in, however, if I enter
"domain\username" in the password prompt that appears. I know it must
be something simple, but I'm not very experienced with this. What am I
missing??

thanks,
anpap

assuming you have joined the 2003 to the domain, have you assign permissions to the domain users or groups?

I have just added the server to the domain (I got the message "Welcome
to the DOMAINNAME domain" and then I rebooted the machine.). I didn't
make any changes to any users or groups. What do I have to do? I'm not
very familiar with AD and domain administration...

cheers,
anpap
