I have 2 servers in my domain a Windows 2003 (PDC) and a Windows 2000 Server.
Both are running DNS and the Windows 2003 is running DHCP and WINS. I have
configured Routing and Remote Access on the Windows 2003 for a simple VPN
connection. I have opened up 1723 port in my router. I have made a
connection to the server 2 to 3 weeks ago but now I get an error 733 on my
Windows XP Pro SP2 workstation and a RemoteAccess 20050 on the Windows 2003
server. I have tried to give the remote pc a static ip (internal) and tried
setting up an address pool on the server. I still have the same issue. Just
for testing purposes I configured the Windows 2000 server the same way and
changed the router to forward to the Windows 2000 server and it worked. Why
is the 2003 not working all of a sudden?
