hi there,
We have a problem with printing to a shared printer (HP Laserprinter 2100
and 2200). When a user sends a job to one of the printers and the printer is
turned off for example, on the server console we got the message "The print
spooler was unable to connect to your printer". This is a normal message, but
when the printer is turned on, the only way to got the job printed, is to
restart the print spooler on the server. Otherwise the printer is not
automaticly reconnected to the server. Is there a workarround for this,
because the problem never occurs to customers of us at Windows 2000 Servers
???
I've read that many other people seems to be having the same problems with
Windows Server 2003 SP1.
thanks
