I have a Windows 2003 server running ColdFusion 6.1 MX that I have recently
applied hot fixes to it. I rebooted the server and the "Server" serivce is
nolonger listed in the system services. I look in "Net Statistics" and the
server serivice is not there. I tried to start it with "Net Start Server"
and got and error message "The Service name is invalid". I even tried
"svchost.exe -k netsvcs" but that didn't bring server service. Help!!!

Here's the error message for Event Viewer:
"Unable to open the Server service. Server performance data will not be
returned. The error code returned is in the first DWORD in the Data section."

Install or remove first, File and Print Sharing:

1.Click Start, click Run, type ncpa.cpl in the Open box, and then click OK.
2.Right-click Local Area Connection, and then click Properties.
3.Click the General tab, and then click Install.
4.Click Service, and then click Add.
5.In the Network Service list, click File and Print Sharing for Microsoft
Networks, and then click OK.
6.Click Close.
