I have a Windows 2003 SBS server running as a domain controller and a Windows
2003 server as a member server. Both servers are multihomed.
I can browse the network from the SBS box but not from the W2K3 server. I
get a message about not having permissions to use the network resource - I
cna see the top level domain, but nothing below.

Where should I be starting?

Regards

The first thing to check is that you have Netbios over TCP/IP enabled on
the local NIC of the member server. Network browsing uses Netbios, not DNS.

Thanks Bill,

I have enabled Netbios over TCP/IP on all NICs - it was disabled on all but
one. I'm wondering if I need to wait for a browser election to happen?

Regards

Personally, I would have left it as it was. With multihomed servers, it
is safest to have Netbt disabled on all but the local NIC.
