Does anyone know how to configure Windows Server 2003 for traffic control
using Windows 2003 QoS + Packet Scheduler. I have tried using Traffic
Control API form Windows 2003 Resource Kit but it does not permit add new
flow!

Refer to the link below for more details to see if your network is properly
configuref for QOS. --- Steve

http://www.microsoft.com/technet/pro...e2763dbeb.mspx

Network Technologies and Support for QoS
QoS depends on support throughout the network. To achieve QoS from sender to
receiver, all of the network elements through which a traffic flow passes -
such as network interface cards, switches, routers, and bridges - must
support QoS. If a network device along this path does not support QoS, the
traffic flow receives the standard first-come, first-served treatment on
that network segment.

Thank you Steve
A read last month all the Microsoft documentation, inclufing the lik below.
There is no description for configuring Traffic Control (included Resource
Kit) in Windows Server 2003. (I have found documentation to configure
Windows Server 2000 shipped width Addmission Control, but Server 2003 does
not support anymore). There are several values in Traffic Control that I can
not find anywhere to configure. All the Network Technologies in my prodution
network support QoS and conform 802.1p standard.
This is the reason why I posted this subject.
Thank you all.

OK. I have never used QOS myself. What may help is to search the Microsoft
website and Google for QOS as shown in the links below. Good luck! ---
