Windows 2003 Firewall Problems with Multiple Addresses on One Interface

Hello,

I am having an issue that I hope someone here might help me with.

On a Windows 2003 Server box, the Windows firewall rules work fine as long
as there is only one IP address assigned to the Local Area Connection. If I
add any secondary addresses to that interface, I can ping the IP addresses,
but I can't connect it on any TCP ports on the primary or secondary IP
addresses. As soon as I remove the secondary
addresses, I can connect to the allowed TCP ports again. Checking the
bindings and reinstalling TCP/IP (with netsh int ip reset reset.log) did not
help.

If anyone would tell me why the above problem would occur, I would greatly
appreciate it.

Thank you,

James Lupolt
