Windows 2003 and network printer

Have about 10 pc's (windows 98) that connect to a windows
2003 server. The pc's all share a printer on the network.
I ran the Add printer from the terminal console and added
everyone's printer. After a while the printers folders
shows some of the printers as offline. If you open the
printer queue the Use printer offline is checked. Try to
uncheck it and it won't let me. The pc's that share the
printers are all running and on the network. And no one
has changed the offline setting for these printers.
Anyone run into anything like this? Thanks.

Whatever the question: DNS is the answer.. :-)

Or maybe, when you have Wintendo-clients, WINS. Do you
have a working WINS on your network?

Jon,
I have a DNS server setup on the network but the win98
pc's are setup to use the DNS as of yet. The pc's join
another domain (they run an older version of exchange and
are upgrading next month so we have 2 domains on their
network). So i should take on 98 pc and set the ip for dns
to the DNS server? Thanks for your help.
