Can someone please tell me the best way to optimize the NIC settings for 100
base speed for the Intel 10/100/1000 on the Dell Servers?

I have already changed the default of Autonegotiate, but there are at least
10-20 settings on these NICS that I would like to ensure that I have it
optimized.

Thanks.

I normally install the latest Intel drives (support.intel.com). The default
settings usually work just great.

I agree with Norbert, unless there is something specific you are trying to
accomplish?

If you are connecting the servers to a Cisco switch set the port on cisco to
100/full and set the nic to 100/full. Otherwise you will/can get a lot of
late collisions. With latest drivers you can leave other settings at default
values. I have seen checksum offload cause problems but they are very rare.
