Okay, more newbie questions about wireless and Windows 2000.....

Where do I setup for a wireless connection in Windows 2000?

I ask, because when I go set up for another network connection in that area of accessories, there is no place for wireless. It has ISDN, local network, dialup and so on.

Second, while netstumbling, I connected to a friend of mines wireless connection, with his permission of course, Explorer works great, but Outlook Express cannot connect because there is no place for a wireless connection.

How do I fix that?

Thanks for you help.

You can't do it as part of the OS. You need to use the config manager software that came with the wireless card.

If the card is there on the machine and the driver for the card is
installed as well, you can go to Device Manager and go to the card and
configure it. You can right-click the card showing in Device Manager and
go to Properties/Advanced to configure it. You can also download the
driver for the card and install it with Device Manager too.

You can use Win 2K's "Help" that will take you to Device Manager.

I don't know what you're talking about on this part and Outlook. If you
have a valid wireless connection with IE that's allowing IE to access the
Internet, then OE should be working as well.
