I have a Windows 2000 domain (client server) with five
Windows XP workstations and one Windows ME workstation.
Whenever the Windows ME workstation is powered on, it
causes conflicts with the other Windows XP workstations.
One Windows XP workstation in general. This one Windows XP
workstation is only used once or twice a week. When it is
powered on, it can not log onto the network. It does not
see the domain, server, etc. It can still access the
internet, it still grabs a DHCP address, but it can not
log onto the network. Each time this happens, is shortly
after the Windows ME machine was just turned on. Sooo, I
know it has something to do with the Windows ME machine
(Grrr!) but I am not sure exactly what the problem is. I
am ready to just format the ME machine and install XP, but
before doing so I wanted to see if anyone has heard of
this exact issue and had any helpful tips. Most of the
tips I have read thus far are all peer-to-peer network
related.

Thanks for your time!
