We are running DHCP and all the Clients are pointing to a Windows 2000 DNS server. Can it be anything to do with SID History?

I would check the DNS settings first.

Hi,
We currently have a Windows 2000 Domain that was migrated from a Windows NT
Domain. We have a problem when we switch on the only Windows NT Domain
Controller, the network seems to slow down and users have problems either
logging on to the Windows 2000 Domain or opening Word\Excel Docs saved
within the Windows 2000 Domain. The trust relationships are not working, yet
this problem persists.
Thanks for any advice.
Regards
Kishor
