Windows 2000 DHCP failure with Netgear MR814v2 Router

I have a machine with a Netgear MA311 wireless PCI card, talking (or
not talking) to a Netgear MR814v2 Router/AP. The Router is connected
to a cable modem.

The machine is dual-boot. In windows XP, the connection works great.
But I just installed the Windows 2000 boot and I can't talk to the
Router.

The wireless connection is good. The LAN is alive and happy at 11
mbps. But windows 2000 cannot find a DHCP server. I've tried
manually setting an IP address, but I still cannot talk to the server
or ping 192.168.0.1 (times out).

Any suggestions?
