WIN98SE/WINXP - Existing Ndis2Driver

After reading and executing all files recommended on the setting up of ICS I
am still not getting the internet from the client. On checking in Device
Manager I see now I have 'a yellow exclamation mark' (!) next to Existing
Ndis2Driver and ICS. I have attempted to renew these two by carrying out
the menu procedure but it still remains. Help please in my journey through
many hours/reading in an attempt to get ICS to work. Using both facilities,
(obtaining address automatically and specifically) Host to client - OK,
client to host - OK, host to internet via broadband - OK, client to
internet - NON. I am afraid I disagree/cannot conform to the writings of
many MVPs as although I carried out their instructions meticulously it still
does not work..
